Assist the Greater Houston area church congregations in the use of the Alpha Course, introducing others to Jesus Christ.

Alpha Connections
This is an informal network of churches and ministries which utilize the Alpha Courses. Regional network gatherings help participants develop "best practices." Here, they share ideas, resources, and testimonies. Through prayer, they encourage and support one another.
Houston Alpha Conference
- Hosted by partner churches and facilitated by the Houston office.
- Practical teaching on why Alpha works, how to start Alpha in your setting. There are workshops on the specifics of the Alpha course.
- Your whole team can be trained, equipped and inspired to run Alpha effectively.
Alpha Advisors
We have advisors from different denominations and settings who are experienced practitioners of the Alpha Course. They are available to speak, train, mentor and encourage those wanting to start or improve their Alpha program.
Joint Training
- "Official" Alpha training events for course coordinators, leaders and helpers teach how to comfortably and effectively run a successful Alpha Course occur throughout the year.
- Through the internet one can access high quality other relevant training.
- You can get answers to practical questions from experienced leaders.
Alpha Prayer
We mobilize prayer for the mission and vision through uniting people around a common goal. Regional prayer gatherings and e-mail prayer updates provide a way to highlight your prayer requests and to call on God together for His provision, protection and direction.
Personal Consultation
We are available to meet with your church or ministry leaders to provide specific advice on Alpha's use in your context.

Our website and digital newsletter keeps you posted about local equipping events and news that may be of interest to you.
Joint Weekend Away
The Joint Weekend Away is an opportunity to work with the Alpha Houston office and the Alpha community to "pool" resources for the weekend away. It is a time to "ease" the work load for your Alpha team. Leaders from each church's course become part of the planning team while the Houston office sets up the location and makes the space available for those wishing to participate. The combined efforts ease the load of the ministry, worship and overall administration for this event. Churches and small groups stay intact while there in corporate worship and viewing of the videos. The Joint Weekend Away are held twice a year, once in the spring and the fall.
