Board Members Rev. Steve Stutz
Rev. Steve Stutz serves as pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Pasadena, Texas, a parish working through the process of renewal for the next generation of its ministry in southeast Texas. Steve began work there eight years ago after having served a small town congregation in Big Spring, Texas and before that being a commissioned office in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He holds an M.Div from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri and is currently a D.Min student at Houston Graduate School of Theology. Steve is a trained spiritual director under the auspices of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas and conducts parish missions on prayer, contemplative spirituality, dreamwork, and the church's healing ministry. He has worked iwth the Church of Uganda (Anglican) in teaching healing and deliverance to parish clergy and is endorsed for chaplaincy work with the Veterans Administration. He is a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International. Steve enjoys preaching, teaching, running the Alpha Course, and having a good laugh--which is often connected with reflection on the state of his golf game. Steve and his wife, Krista have been married 21 years and they have three daughters and a grandson.
