ALPHA HOUSTON GOES INTERNATIONAL

This past May, I was invited and attended Alpha?s annual International Week in London, England. Words can not describe how amazing and spirit-filled the whole week was. I was encouraged to go so that I could see the "big picture" of Alpha at Holy Trinity Brompton! HTB had several staff members to guide us around for the week and provided snacks & meals. Nicky did many of the conference talks himself and that was awesome to see him live after watching so many videos.

On the second and third day one of the sessions offered was "News from the Nations," in which a spokesperson from the 76 countries represented gave a brief update on their country?s involvement with Alpha. It was there I was reminded of how incredible God is! Even though over 800 people represented over 76 countries and with several different languages being spoken, it was apparent that Jesus Christ is the same all over the world! I was in complete "awe" to see how far Alpha has come and how many lives are changing because of what God is doing with Alpha. I strongly encourage you to continue and spread the word about Alpha so that we can help make Jesus known and better known, starting right here in Houston, TX and growing all over the world.
